About

We do things differently at UpCurrent Physical Therapy & Wellness…

Our Mission

We do things differently at UpCurrentPT. We swim against the current of mediocre Physical Therapy. We tackle root causes and propel our patients Upwards to reach their highest potential via a systematic approach.

Our Goal

Our goal is to assist the body in its innate ability to heal. We empower patients with knowledge to understand their own bodies and provide an exceptional level of care that is aimed at treating the whole person and not just the ailment.

Our Approach

You are invited into an equal partnership with your Physical Therapist. Your Physical Therapist supports you with one-on-one care, providing you with the education, motivation, and accountability you need to reach your health goals.

Our Beliefs

  • Our bodies are intricately, intelligently, and beautifully designed by a perfect, loving God, and man is made in His image

  • The body works together in symphony and has an innate ability to heal itself

  • Symptoms are the body’s way of communicating with us that something is off-balance

  • Symptoms can manifest from an imbalance in mind, body, or spirit

Our Values

  • Education- You deserve to know the WHY behind your symptoms and treatment plan. This requires detailed education from your Physical Therapist each step of the way. We equip you to be your own best advocate as you navigate your healing journey.

  • Motivation- You deserve a Physical Therapist who is in your corner, celebrating ALL the little wins as you strive towards your big health goals.

  • Validation- You deserve to feel heard and understood. You know your body best and we’re here to listen and honor your intuition.

  • Trust- You deserve to work with someone who you can depend on. UpCurrentPT is your healing partner, committed to helping you feel your best.

  • FUN- You deserve to have FUN during Physical Therapy! Dr. Phillips’ greatest joy is laughing with his patients!

Optional Prayer

UpCurrentPT provides an optional, PT-led prayer to God at the beginning of each visit for patients who are interested.
