Massage Therapy
Swedish Massage
A Swedish massage is a full-body massage technique that uses a variety of strokes, kneading, and tapping to relax muscles, relieve pain, and improve blood flow. The goal of a Swedish massage is to relax, energize, and loosen muscles in a gentle way. It can help reduce physical stress, improve posture, and relieve tension headaches. Swedish massage can improve both mental and physical symptoms and reduce pain.

Swedish Massage with Stretching/Trigger Point Release
This Swedish massage involves moving joints through their range of motion to stretch muscles, reduce pain, restore range of motion, and maintain health. Trigger point therapy is a soft tissue treatment that aims to relieve muscle pain and tension by identifying and treating trigger points, or knots, in the body. This treatment can help relieve muscle tension and promote healing by stretching muscles and applying pressure to trigger points. Trigger point therapy can also help correct muscular imbalances and speed up recovery from injury.

Pickleball Mechanics Program
UpCurrentPT will help you level up your pickleball game with our Pickleball Mechanics Program consisting of Pickleball Mechanics Assessment, Pickleball Physical Therapy, Pickleball Training, and Pickleball Reassessment! Whether you’re a 3.0 looking to improve your dink or drop shot, or a 4.5 looking to find weaknesses in your game, our Pickleball Mechanics Program can help you move past your stagnant play to become the pickleball player you know you can be!
Pickleball Mechanics Assessment:
The goal of a Pickleball Mechanics Assessment is to evaluate player performance, pinpoint player limitations (weaknesses, improper form, etc), and provide a customized plan to level up. Example of limitations include poor postural balance, limited rotation, decreased core strength, irregular body weight distribution between lower extremities, decreased power at baseline, improper techniques (dink, dropshot), and much more.
The Pickleball Mechanics Assessment includes:
-60 min of drills at House of Pickleball (HOP)
-Recorded video (for analysis only)
-PT assessment of player mechanics and strategies
-Customized plan for improvement
-30 min debrief at UpCurrentPT
Players then have the ability to implement this customized plan via Pickleball Physical Therapy and/or Pickleball Training.
Pickleball Physical Therapy:
Physical Therapy isn’t just for those with injuries! Pickleball Physical Therapy equips players to overcome their specific deficits via proper strengthening and flexibility techniques. During these sessions, players can improve postural balance, gain range of motion, increase core strength, balance body weight distribution between lower extremities, and boost power at baseline, all while increasing endurance. This type of Physical Therapy is not generic, but rather, is specific to the player.
Pickleball Training:
This is for players who want additional training after Pickleball Mechanics Assessments/Reassessments OR for those who are simply wanting to level up their skills. Pickleball Training sessions are 60 min and take place at HOP. Pickleball Training will aid in improving tactics of game play, visuospatial awareness, strength, and speed drills to improve mobility, hand-eye coordination, and power to attain higher levels of pickleball play.
Pickleball Mechanics Reassessment:
After players have implemented their customized plan via Pickleball Physical Therapy and/or Pickleball Training, players qualify for a Pickleball Mechanics Reassessment, which is identical in format to the Pickleball Mechanics Assessment.
